Buying a house with a Turntable

If you are buying a house, it is important to inspect all the parts of the property. The team at WCT have come across a large variety of turntable designs, each of which came with their own issues, and much like a car,  turntables also need maintenance and servicing. It is important to understand the quality and service history of the car turntable. To do so, you must also carefully choose who you will hire to do this for you. Picking a company, mechanic or engineer with previous experience with vehicle turntables is recommended.

Turntable can be operated by friction, rack and pinion, chain,  single phase motor, 3 phase motors and there are likely to be many other different renditions including manually operated turntables! Some turntables require very regular maintenance to remain in operation. Some may be unserviceable and have to be replaced when they fail. A custom built turntable, or an irregulate size may even mean that replacing the turntable, requires series concrete work. It is therefore very important to assess the turntable condition and maintainability before handing over your hard earned cash. The last thing you want to do is reverse onto a busy street from a property that was designed to have a turntable.
