The owner of this luxury home wanted to create a beautifully designed residence, carefully informed by its scenic coastal location, that maximised its spatiality as efficiently as possible.

The home, in Perth’s western suburbs, is a rear property. As per local government planning policies and Residential Design Codes, the property is required to provide a way for cars to exit onto the road in a safe and forward manner. By installing a car turntable, the owner was able to repurpose space originally needed for the reversing bay and add a generous extension to the guest bedroom. The owner was also able to include a charming feature path and feature tree to guide visitors to the front entrance. We love the results, and hope you do as well.
